We use spinal X-rays to help determine what is going on in your body. It gives us the insight of how long a problem has been there for, what techniques would be best suited for you, and how long it will take for things to improve.
We combine this with all the functional chiropractic testing we do when you first come in. This includes nerve testing, posture evaluation, range of motion testing and testing to assess how well your body is functioning.
As an example, someone may have only recently started to experience symptoms such as headaches or low back pain for the first time. However, when we look on x-ray, we can see the problem has in fact been building or been there for some time. This is a very common occurrence as the body, from a survival perspective will try to adapt and make changes in the background and prolong symptoms for as long as possible. (This may also include changes to posture).
This is why we value the insight of x-rays. To see it to know, to not see is to guess and we will not guess when it comes to your health.
